Madras Chili Mexican Mocha Mocha Nut Muffins Slow Cooker Beef
Spiced Coffee Texas Brownies Tim's BBQ Sauce  
Texas Brownies
    2 c. flour
    2 c. sugar
    ½ c. butter
    ½ c. shortening
    1 c. strong brewed coffee
    ¼ c. dark, unsweetened cocoa
    ½ c. buttermilk
    2 eggs
    1 t. soda
    1 t. vanilla

    In large mixing bowl, combine flour & sugar. In heavy saucepan, combine butter, shortening, coffee & cocoa. Stir & heat to boiling. Pour boiling mixture over flour & sugar mixture and mix together then add buttermilk, eggs, soda and vanilla, mixing together. Pour into 17 ½ X 11 pan and bake @ 400 degrees for 20 minutes or until test done in middle. While brownies are baking make the following frosting.

    Frosting
    ½ c. butter
    2 T. dark cocoa
    ¼ c. milk
    3 ½ c. unsifted powdered sugar
    1 t. vanilla

    Combine butter, dark cocoa and milk and heat to boiling, stirring. Then mix in powdered sugar and vanilla until frosting is smooth. Pour warm frosting over brownies as soon as you take them out of the oven. Cut and serve.
